Today Esset Australia and Wesfarmers General Insurance Limited (WGIL) announced a services agreement to deliver a range of training & assessment services for WGIL staff. In a staged process, Esset Australia will commence from 1st October the assessment of participants throughout 80 Wesfarmers Federation Insurance (WFI) locations in Australia.

Esset Australia CEO Stephen Brown said “this project incorporates the strengths of the Esset Australia business model in delivering accredited assessment services throughout Australia in a coordinated and professional approach”. The Esset Australia consultants, who are located in all states, will utilise the Registered Training Organisation’s (RTO) robust systems and processes to deliver an efficient and streamlined service to the WGIL business.

Qualifications will be delivered across a 12 month period incorporating the internal training and systems requirements of WGIL and aligned assessment services delivered by Esset Australia to achieve the workforce planning strategies of WGIL. Initial qualifications delivered will include the Certificate III in Financial Services (Insurance Services) and Certificate IV in Financial Services (Insurance Services).

Over the coming months Esset will effectively become the outsourced partner providing RTO services previously provided by the internal RTO of the company. This model will remove the compliance and regulatory responsibility from WGIL whilst retaining all the productivity, human resource and commercial benefits of providing accredited training to staff.
