Australian Skills Vouchers Programme Launch

Esset Australia is pleased to announce the launch of the new Australian Skills Vouchers Programme.
Esset Australia has been confirmed as an Approved Provider for the Skills Vouchers initiative of the Australian Government Department of Education Science and Training.
Esset Australia is an education provider and consultancy in Launceston, but operates both statewide and interstate, providing high quality and industry responsive training programs in a range of niche areas.
As an Approved Provider, Esset Australia is able to assess the eligibility of participants across Australia for access to the programme.
The Australian Skills Vouchers Programme targets basic skills development and business skills training for eligible Australians. Through the Australian Skills Vouchers Programme, eligible Australians may now apply for a voucher which helps cover the cost of specific types of training. This training is available through approved training providers across Australia.
Esset Australia will commence delivery of a range of skills voucher funded programmes in February 2007, including:
Business Skills Vouchers - a range of short course business programs for Apprentices to improve their business skills.
Work Skills Vouchers - a wide range of Certificate II qualification programs in all industry areas, to improve the basic skills of the workforce and participants seeking workforce participation.
Esset Australia Managing Director, Phill Bevan, outlined that "the Australian Skills Vouchers Programme provides a new opportunity for a wide range of participants, both employed and seeking work, to access qualifications and skills through a funded option, improving their industry skills and increasing their chances of finding suitable work, or improving their current industry knowledge if already in work."
