FEA Endorsement of Events Management Training Programs

Esset Australia is pleased to announce the endorsement of our Events Management training programs by the Festivals and Events Association (FEA). The Festivals & Events Association is the national professional body for people and organisations involved in the event industry.

The Esset Australia Events Management training programs, delivered in partnership with Events Management Education and Consulting Australia (EMECA), are linked to the nationally recognised Diploma of Event Management qualification, and cover a range of topic areas of high interest to the Events Industry, including:

  • Event Concepts
  • Risk Management
  • Sponsorship
  • Events Co-ordination
  • Budgeting
  • Marketing Plans
  • Project Administration

Phill Bevan, Managing Director of Esset Australia, outlined the endorsement from Festivals and Events Association as “further evidence to the high quality of Esset Australia's training materials, strategies and courses in the events management area. The Events Management training programs are closely aligned to the aims of the FEA in providing opportunities for people involved in the event industry to share knowledge and experience, improving industry standards through training and development, and promoting the value of events to the community at large."

Esset Australia delivers courses and qualifications nationally across all Australian states & territories, utilising the latest in distance, blended learning and elearning strategies to ensure participants are supported through their program and achieve a high educational outcome.

In addition to holding full government registration and accreditation for their national courses, Esset Australia also holds ISO 9001:2000 International quality assurance certification, is confirmed as an Endorsed Supplier with the Australian Commonwealth Government, and is an accredited member of the Australian Council of Independent Vocational Colleges, demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to the highest standards in education provision and client satisfaction.

The events management training programs and associated course materials are available in Tasmania through a workship series throughout the year, and also to interested participants in all states and territories, through a blend of distance based and e-learning course materials.

Enrolments are currently being taken for the program for 2006 course programs, and places are available for subsidised workshops for Tasmanian residents in the events industry, and also fee paying participants.
