Who is Esset Australia?
Esset Australia is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), registered under the Australian Quality Training Framework. As an RTO, Esset Australia meets national educational and quality standards. Esset Australia is periodically audited by State Training Authorities, to ensure that these high Quality standards are maintained. Esset Australia is an approved institution for participants to receive Austudy, Youth Allowance and other Centrelink benefits.
Are Esset Australia courses recognised?
All Esset Australia courses are Nationally Recognised courses, meaning that they are recognised as an Australian qualification in any State and Territory. Esset Australia's nationally recognised courses are also approved for Austudy, Youth Allowance and Centrelink programs.
How do Esset Australia courses run?
Esset Australia courses follow a range of pathways chosen by participants. Apart from recognition processes, training may be undertaken via a variety of means:

How much time do Esset Australia courses take to complete?
All Esset Australia courses are competency-based, meaning that courses are completed as participants are deemed competent, over flexible time periods. In general, however, Esset Australia courses are undertaken over 1 to 2 year periods.
Can I get recognition for units I have already covered?
Esset Australia offers all clients recognition of existing skills through a Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) / Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process and application. Recognition procedures still require applicants to be assessed to demonstrate their competency.
How long does each course training module take?
The length of each module varies, but as a general guide approximately 30 hours of work is required to complete each training module.
What happens if I cancel without completing the course?
If you cancel your enrolment before completing the course, Esset Australia will issue you with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment, outlining the units that you have successfully completed.
How can I make course payments?
Course payments are flexible and fees are dependent on the course you are enrolling in. For Australian Apprenticeships participants, the Australian Government may provide incentives to your employer to cover all course fees. For private enrolments, please contact us for more information on courses available and fees payable.
How is the assessment conducted?
Esset Australia course assessments are completed via a range of methods, dependent on the course being completed and pathways chosen. Assessment techniques include on-the-job demonstrations, verbal questioning, testimonials from supervisors, portfolios of work and written assessments.
What support is provided through a course?
A range of support options are provided through the duration of a course, including workplace visits, phone and email contact with your facilitator, feedback on activities & assessments you complete and a range of course materials to support your learning. Support options depend on the program area being undertaken.
